Well, I guess I am a little behind on doing this blog thing but here I go.
7 1/2 learning habits:
Learning habits have never really came easy to me because I have never really had to establish them. I was one of those "never have to crack a book but could ace the test" type of people. This had pros and cons. I never had to study but I lost out on establishing study skills and learning habits.
The learning habit that comes easiest is teaching and mentoring others. Whether I am showing my cousin how to do a math problem or teaching a Sunday School class I seem to learn as I go. New thoughts are brought forth or I learn for the ones I am teaching myself. I thoroughly enjoy this learning habit.
The learning habit that is the hardest would have to be using technology to my advantage. Besides doing simple searches I don't know much about utilizing the tool that are out there for me. I know that the Web 2.0 is going to be a huge asset for me.

It's never too late to start!
Never talk about "cracking a book" to a bunch of librarians. You're likely to get a lecture on proper care of a binding and suggestions on how to fix it!
